Okay, it's 6 pm and I need to pack and clean my room and I really shouldn't be on computer right now! I'm going to Italy for Giffoni Film Festival. I'm too old - in the younger category they're showing The Black Balloon, starring none else than Gemma Ward. In the star meetings there are Abigail Breslin (a.k.a Little Miss Sunshine), Meg Ryan and Tim Roth. Hmm, I haven't really checked the backgrounds of the films in my category, not yet. Million things need to be done! I've had zero energy today, but that can be fixed with modern day magic recoveries. I've forgot all the Airport customs stuff...uh.

Okay, maybe Arvika picturetimes? My Italy wardwrobe is much cleaner, obviously..it's a childrens festival after all. Definitely NOT packing most of the clothes shown in the coming pictures. Maybe the fannypack though! While I'm away, the posts are timed.

My expressions vary amazingly. It just gets scarier in the coming pictures...

I want more Yves Saint Laurents designs, now. I've been dreaming about low-flying jets, le smokings and sleeveless vests. I also want more leggins?! And since studded things are pretty much untrendy by now, I need them too. That Givenchy jacket...how perfect. I'm wearing my moms watch, it's not working. The vest used to belong to my friends mom or sister. Trifted Hermes scarf, second hand bag and Chinese silk shirt, leggins from a chain store. That's how we roll.

Have you got anything a bit more up tempo? Handbag? Techno? Disco? Electro?

When my mom saw them, she laughed and then looked at me and said: Maria, you do understand that they cost my day's wage...how sad. I love them. I also have my new shoes on, that I bought from flea market for 1 euro. Old bag, old scarf, my moms old dress and a Tiger of Sweden tank underneath. The hat is from UFF, euro too. Yes. Maybe I should have more outfit of day's instead of drunken pictures...you like the grill? We never used it. Yesterday, I got little drunk and I threw up and slept for the most of the party and then I ate cereals and read a scientific mag. Fun!! You know, sport records are coming to an end...athletes are already using 99% of their powers. Like, whoa. Crazy shit. Thanks Sanna for the picture.

I was prepared to post lots of stylish pictures from Arvika but when I finally had the chance to stick in the usb thing to my computer, what do I get from my dear friend? Hmm, 1735 pictures mainly consisting of cats/food/friends smiling/Depeche Mode. No Arvika file. She failed something, but it's alright, maybe later, yes? I bet you like some of these pictures too. Sausages, furs and playhalls are kinda awesome, and shot through a mobile lense, they come with a postmodern touch.





Yesterday I lost my feather I got from Arvika's Saul Williams performance, I was so sad. Then later when we were walking in the city, I spotted his DJ Kidtronics and the guitarist guy who is so indie he doesn't do feathers or performance gear. They were with company, I hope they really enjoy Finland because they've done three shows here and still hanging around.





This morning, we went for breakfast in Cafe Ekberg. I opted for white tea, but they were out of it so I got a pot of green one instead. Fun times, we were outside and lots of fashion people walked by. Then I we went to flea market and I got two pairs of nice shoes and a 50s dress for 3 euros. After that we went to recycling centre nearby and I grabbed lots of amazing stuff from the free side. A fitting oversized blazer by accident, can you believe that?



This picture was taken during the night I first entered a bar in late 2006. It was one of those really hip bars in Helsinki at the time, I wore this floral dress from my grandma and the larping belt. I just don't know why...
