To listen when Saturday has turned to Sunday and everyone is out partying except your best friends who are watching Depeche Mode live videos.
I just need to sleep because I have to wake up at seven to get my stuff to the fleamarket. I usually go to bed at three. At least I'm pretty consistent about one thing...

I had a really fun day today. My friend called me 10.50 to ask me where I was. In my bed of course, the god damn frog noise as my ring tone waked me up. I was supposed to wake up hours earlier to get to her house so she could photograph me for her school, and I was supposed to do that a week earlier, if I hadn't slept the day and missed her three calls. I felt like such a lousy friend, especially because the night before I had read stuff why people are so miserable and stupid nowadays. One of the points was that they don't do friend things anymore, favors. So, I got up, put on the same clothes I've worn for a week and two minutes later I was running to the bus, no time to find gloves and beanie, ear infection and all. And I had really fun time posing outdoors in knee-highs and minidress and coughing inside every 15 minutes when we took a break. Five hours later and I was doing the same thing for another friend in a graveyard, but this time the dress was replaced with a morning robe. It was raining, dark and the stones were wet. But it took only five minutes, and I bet you'll love the outcome of both. As Woody Allen said, 90 percent of life is just showing up. Between these two shoots, we also had an exciting meeting about something that's happening next year with DINOSAURUXIA.

Sometimes I just feel like...like I need someone in my life who would be just like, dude, don't worry, everything's going to be amazing.

Maybe it's just because then I could be like, dude, fuck off, my friends told me that already!

I really like this Acne's Pre-Spring 10 dress...could you be patient with my will try to sew similar out from extra black silk I have? Or maybe modify the Karl Lagerfeld for H&M dress that looks kinda similar?

Ps. Why do I have ear infection this week? Could it go away soon, because I would really love to see Fuck Buttons, Neon Indian and dance to Skream next week, since I missed Miike Snow and Zebra&Snake this week because of it? I think it would be fair.

I think everything woven is going to be a huge trend, straws, leather, everything. Straw bags especially, I have two already. My new shoes are from Zara and I love them because of the woven front, that makes them look like expensive shoes in the pages of Vogue Paris, it's all in the details when it comes to shoes. Plus I just discovered that my other Zara pair, last Autumn's Balmain knock-offs, are also owned by Geraldine Saglio. Weird because...Vogue Paris and Balmain.. but amazing in the same time.

Ps. I'll be sharing a table and selling my old clothes this Sunday at Valtteri. Let me tell you, I have some mint stuff, faux furs, shiny blazers and plaid shirts and everything, it's just that I have them double the amount I need. I'm sure some of you would love them in your wardrobe!

I can't remember the content but it smelled good, expensive, Swedish! Also my new shoes start to hurt after five hours.

WE'RE GONNA LIVE IT UP, I PROMISE

Balenciaga's first perfume since the house was re-launched makes me kinda excited. Of course perfumes are one of the best ways for fashion houses (and this one is indeed a lisence through Coty, not in-house like Chanel or Hermes) to milk money but this at least seems tastefully executed, like it could be my new favorite object in life. I can't wait to know the scent itself, that is supposed to be a mix of cedar, patchouli and violet leaves. The face for it is none other than the talented Charlotte Gainsbourg and the campaign by Steven Meisel seems absolutely lovely! I also like the fact that they've chosen the simple name Paris, not something epic like The One or Free...It isn't launching until February 2010 though, so we'll have to wait! Unless we're Charlotte Gainsbourg of course..

FRIDAY THE 13TH

Turku, so good it hurts. Remember this? Well, I did it again. I suggested Emilia and Sanna (DINOSAURUXIA) to take a Photobooth picture after their soundcheck because the stage at Dynamo was really nice with red velvet curtains. Well, the stage had also and meter drop in one corner, just behind where the instruments and Mac were set. I had warned Emilia and Sanna constantly not to fall into it but guess where I rushed into when I wanted to be behind them in the picture...I called to hospital today to book an appointment for stiches but they said they don't stich old wounds. So that means I'll be getting mega ugly scar because what you don't see in the picture is that a piece of my skin went missing in the hole..and the wound is kinda deep. Two steps back and it's like that, such is life...

I'm seeing Glass Candy live tonight at Redrum! Hopefully I won't trip into glass candy again. I've had an amazing couple of days...they pass so fast, maybe it because twilight settles at 15.30 every day. Still weird to think this will go on for at least 4 months. But we'll manage with cashmere and merino wool, won't we? I've also got some amazing jackets on hold at UFF...they will help me get through, now there's only left to choose which one.

I AM REALLY SAD! I LOST MY PRETTY HUGE VIOLET RHINESTONE EARRING THAT I NICKED FROM MY MOM! :( I really liked it...but now it's gone..luckily I still have one earring and ring of the same set left. Crap, I just thought that it would be a part of my life for a very long time. The pair just fit into my life, it was right there chilling with my Chanel No.5, stack of Paris Vogues and a vintage YSL merino wool knit. Too bad, too bad, that's what you get.

When we were walking to the supermarket, in the cold November afternoon to buy soda, it struck to me that I really like my friend's Julia's style. Not only because she has hand-me-downs like Thierry Mugler dress and kick-ass bustier from her rich aunt, but because she really effortlessy puts it all together without following doezens of fashion blogs or fashion magazines. I mean, she once sent me a text where she told me she was starting to feel light-headed when browsing four-figure Armani dresses- This outfit in particular reminded me of Alt, though it's lacking the trendy shoulderpads and over-the-knee boots. It made me think that maybe I too should jump out from the trend cycle and concentrate on what matters. To the fit, the ethics, the timelessness and to the silent details. Doesn't sound too hard now does it..
