The title of the story was fashion nerds or something similar, and since I'm back from my summer hiatus, except to read entries about how I discovered after 1,5 years of finding new summer shoes that I am definitely a loafer person...

This was couple of months ago, or so it seems. Time flies when you're living, the same songs get played and life gives back what it has taken...

LAITINEN SPRING SUMMER 2012

These are my favorites from the Laitinen SS12 collection.
What draws me to the collection this season is again the use of materials and fabric.
Reindeer leather, metallic silk, waxed cotton, linen, you name it.
Not to mention the cotton/linen floral print (!) is very contemporary, hi Tyler The Creator.
And the seersucker suit is incredibly beautiful.

Damn you clothes getting me emotional...

I'm took out my second hand Italian linen pinstripe blazer and I've been wearing it with joy the past weeks.
It's unlined and I putting it on always makes me feel like I'm going to a holiday.
Something so simple can change your whole mindset.
Not bad for a piece of garment bought for 30 cents...
